According to market sources, demand in the Omani flat steel market is still weak, though expectations of an upward revision in prices prevail in the market. Meanwhile, Chinese hot rolled coil (HRC) offers to Oman have remained unchanged week on week in the range of $400-410/mt CFR, for June production.  However, since iron ore prices have increased, Chinese HRC offers are also expected to rise in the short term.
