During the week ending February 4, Chinese flat steel export offer prices have continued their stable trend. At present, export offers for boron-added 5.75 mm hot rolled coil (HRC) given by Chinese suppliers are at $280-290/mt FOB, while export offers for 1.0 mm cold rolled coil (CRC) given by Chinese suppliers are in the range of $325-335/mt FOB.
Since it is very close to the Chinese New Year holiday (February 8-14), some traders have left the market early ahead of the holiday, while more will soon leave the market, and this has contributed to the stable trend of Chinese flat steel export offer prices.
