Average export offer prices of Chinese flat steel have indicated a rising trend for some products over the past week, namely for hot rolled coil (HRC) and hot dip galvanized (HDG), while prices of other products have remained stable. At present, export offers for boron-added 5.75 mm hot rolled coil (HRC) given by Chinese suppliers are at $370-385/mt FOB, while export offers for 1.0 mm cold rolled coil (CRC) given by Chinese suppliers are in the range of $425-435/mt FOB.
Domestic flat resources have indicated a rising trend, exerting a positive impact on export offer prices. It is thought that flat steel export offer prices from China will likely edge up in the coming week.
