Chinese flat steel export offer prices have indicated a slight rising trend for some products over the past week, namely for cold rolled coil (CRC), hot dip galvanized (HDG) and hot rolled plate (HRP), while prices of other products have remained stable. At present, export offers for boron-added 5.75 mm hot rolled coil (HRC) given by Chinese suppliers are at $515-525/mt FOB, while export offers for 1.0 mm cold rolled coil (CRC) given by Chinese suppliers are in the range of $600-610/mt FOB.
During the given week, flat steel export offer prices from China have mostly indicated a slight uptrend or remained unchanged, with only pre-painted galvanized iron (PPGI) prices edging down. It is thought that Chinese flat steel export offer prices will likely rise slightly in the coming week.
