Brazilian HDG export price remains stable

A source from a major exporter told SteelOrbis that export HDG offer prices are stable at $735/mt, FOB conditions, having the G40 grade, 4.75mm thickness product as reference.
 
The price level has remained the same since late February, following a small reduction to stay in line with international prices for the product.
 
In February, CSN exported 31,200 mt of HDG at $773/mt, Usiminas exported 5,000 mt at $891/mt and ArcelorMittal exported 3,500 mt at $875, mt, all FOB conditions, with price deals probably closed in December 2016.
 
The main destinations were South America (20,416 mt, of which 18,800 mt to Argentina) and the US (18,000 mt).
