Bensteel issues flats prices for April

On March 18, the Chinese Liaoning Province-based steelmaker Bensteel announced its ex-works prices for flats, effective for April 2009. The details are as follows:

1. HR

The new price of 2.75 mm Q235 is at RMB 3,100/mt ($453/mt) while the price of 5.75 mm Q235 is at RMB 3,030/mt ($443/mt).

2. CR

The new price of 1.0 mm DC01 is at RMB 3,450/mt ($505/mt).

3. HDG

The new price of 1.0 mm SGCC is at RMB 3,750/mt ($549/mt).

The above prices do not include 17 percent VAT.
