West Chester, Ohio-based AK Steel Holding Corp. announced Monday that it will increase its spot prices by $20 /nt ($1.00 cwt. or $22 /mt) on all carbon steel products on new orders scheduled for delivery beginning July 1, 2009.
AK Steel produces flat rolled carbon steel primarily for the automotive, appliance and construction industries. The company is also a leading stainless and electrical steel producer.
