AK Steel announced Thursday that effective immediately with new orders, it will increase current spot market base prices for all carbon flat-rolled steel products by $30/nt ($1.50 cwt. or $33/mt).
The move comes after similar announcements from USS Posco and California Steel Industries (CSI) earlier this week.
