2003 GDP grew by 7% in CIS

According to CIS Statistics Committee, the average GDP (Gross Domestic Product) growth in CIS reached 7% in 2003 when compared to 2002. CIS Statistics Committee reported that the highest GDP growth rate in 2003 was recorded in Armenia with 13.9%. Moldova showed the most moderate GDP growth by 6.3%. In 2003, Azerbaijan's GDP increased by 11.2% while Tajikistan, Georgia, Ukraine, Belarus and Kyrgyztan's GDP were up by 10.2%, 8.6%, 8.5%, 6.8% and 6.7% respectively. In 2003, GDP has increased by 7% in Russia.
