Zongheng Steel commissions No. 2 blast furnace

Hebei Province-based Chinese steel producer Zongheng Iron and Steel Co. (Zongheng Steel) has announced that its No. 2 blast furnace with a capacity of 2,350 cubic meters has been successfully put into production.
 
Within the scope of it blast furnace construction project, Zongheng has built three blast furnaces, each with a capacity of 2,350 cubic meters. The No. 1 furnace was put into operation in September 2008, while the No. 3 furnace began production operations in February 2010.
