On July 17, Jiangxi Province-based Xinyu Steel issued ex-factory prices for certain products. The details are as follows:
1. Wire Rod: The producer's price of wire rod has remained stable. As a result, the price of Q235 6.5 mm wire rod stays at RMB 5,870/mt ($862).
2. Rebar: The price of rebar has also remained stable, and so in Nanchang the price of HRB 335 of 16 mm diameter is still at RMB 5,350/mt ($785/mt).
3. Medium plate: The producer's price of common carbon plate and low alloy plate has not changed. Thus, the price of Q235 14-20 mm material remains at RMB 6,860/mt ($1,007/mt).
The above prices include taxes (17 percent VAT) and are effective as of July 16.
