Xinyegang Steel develops corrosion-resistant 13Cr seamless pipe

Hubei Province-based Chinese steel producer Xinyegang Steel Co. has announced that its 460 mm pipe mill has developed corrosion-resistant seamless pipe containing 13 percent chromium.
                    
The pipe product in question is mainly used in the cement structures of deep ocean oil wells. The pipe has strong resistance to corrosion by carbon dioxide and seawater.
