Xiangtan Steel ups ex-factory price for medium plate

SteelOrbis Shanghai On May 15, Hunan Province-based Xiangtan Steel upped its ex-factory prices for medium plate by RMB 100/mt ($13/mt). After the adjustment, the mill's price of 14-50 mm Q235 common carbon medium plate has risen to RMB 4,900/mt ($637/mt), while its price of 14-50 mm Q345 has increased to RMB 5,000/mt ($650/mt). The above prices include 17 percent VAT and are effective as of May 15, 2007.
