Wuyang Steel to supply plate to Baosteel Construction and Gandwer

On January 13, major Chinese steelmaker Hebei Iron and Steel Group announced that its subsidiary Hebei-based Wuyang Iron and Steel Co. (Wuyang Steel) has signed a strategic cooperation agreement with Shanghai-based Baosteel Construction Co. and Jiangsu Province-based Chinese structural steel producer Gandwer Co. According to the agreement, Wuyang Steel will supply a combined total of 100,000 mt of wide and heavy structural steel plate per year to Baosteel Construction and Gandwer Co. Baosteel Construction is the leading company in the Chinese structural steel industry.
