On May 1, Jiangsu Province-based Wuxi NewDaZhong Steel released the May 2007 ex-factory prices of its coated products.
The ex-factory price of HDG decreased RMB 50/mt ($7/mt). After adjustment, the new price of 0.5 mm thick HDG is RMB 6,300/mt ($819/mt), while that of 1.0 mm thick HDG is RMB 5,800/mt ($754/mt).
The ex-factory price of color coated coil decreased RMB 50/mt ($7/mt). After adjustment, the new price of 0.4 mm thick color coated coil is RMB 7,480/mt ($973/mt), while that of 0.47 mm thick color coated coils is RMB 7,080/mt ($921/mt).
All the above prices include 17 percent VAT and are effective as of May 1, 2007.
