Germany-based Wuppermann Group has announced that it will invest around €40 million in the expansion of the tube mill at its Austria-based subsidiary Wuppermann Metalltechnik GmbH. The project is to be implemented by 2026.

Construction works are scheduled to begin in 2024. After completion of the building, a new tube welding line will be installed and start production in 2025.

The existing tube welding line will remain in operation to supply seamless tubes to customers.
