Wuhu Xinxing Pipes completes hot test on RH refining furnace

According to China's state-owned China Metallurgical Group Co. (MCC), hot commissioning has been completed at the RH refining furnace and related electromechanical equipment of Anhui Province-based Chinese steel pipe producer Wuhu Xinxing Pipes Co., a wholly-owned subsidiary of Chinese pipe maker Xinxing Ductile Iron Pipes Co.. Construction work on the project was carried out by MCC subsidiary China MCC17 Group Co.. 
 
The 120 mt refining furnace has a refining capacity of 1 million mt of steel per year. The new furnace will help the company achieve greater production efficiency and higher product quality.
