WISCO’s net profit up 24.3 percent in Q3

According to the financial report issued by Chinese steel producer Wuhan Iron and Steel Co. (WISCO), in the third quarter of the current year the company's net profit came to RMB 413 million ($64.7 million), rising by 24.3 percent compared to the corresponding period of last year.

In the given period, the company's operating income reached RMB 25.97 billion (approx. $4 billion). In the first three quarters of the current year, WISCO's total operating income was RMB 76.8 billion (approx. $12 billion), while its net profit was RMB 1.64 billion ($257 million).
