WISCO wins Sinopec tender

Hubei Province-based Chinese steelmaker Wuhan Iron and Steel Group (WISCO) has lately won a tender to supply hot rolled coil (HRC) for making spiral submerged arc welded (SSAW) pipes and longitudinal electrical resistance welded (ERW) pipes for the pipeline projects of Chinese oil and gas company Sinopec, as announced by Sinopec. Accordingly, WISCO is expected to supply tens of thousands of metric tons of HRC for Sinopec’s pipeline projects in 2016.
