Hubei Province based-Wuhan Iron & Steel River North Group Metal Products Co., a subsidiary of Chinese steel producer Wuhan Iron and Steel (Group) Corp. (WISCO) has won a tender to supply prestressing steel strand for the T3 terminal at Wuhan Tianhe International Airport.
The T3 terminal at Wuhan Tianhe International Airport, which covers a total area of 495,000 square meters, requires significant tonnages of prestressing steel strand. Wuhan Iron & Steel River North Group Metal Products Co. is currently producing the first batch of 2,843 mt of prestressing steel strand, with other contracts for supply of the product for the airport due to be signed subsequently.
