Chinese steelmaker Wuhan Iron and Steel Co. (WISCO) has shipped a batch of K55 coils for longitudinally-welded petroleum casing pipe applications to Indonesia.
With greater focus being placed on safety in the use of petroleum casing pipes, there is now strong international market demand for K55 coils for longitudinally-welded petroleum casing pipe applications.
The production of K55 hot rolled coil by WISCO, featuring an extremely low tensile ratio and thin specifications, constitutes an important breakthrough for WISCO in its production of wide carbon steel coils or plates.
