WISCO develops new section steel for Maglev train line

On March 30, the first batch of 2,000 mt of CF235D special section steel for a Maglev train line was successfully produced at the bar plant of Chinese steel producer Wuhan Iron and Steel (Group) Corp. (WISCO), the first time WISCO has produced this product grade, as reported by Hubei Daily on April 7. The 2,000 mt of special section steel will be used in laying the Maglev train line at Changsha in the province of Hunan.
 
WISCO is the first Chinese steelmaker to develop section steel for Maglev train lines and has the sole right to supply section steel for the Changsha Maglev train line.
