WISCO develops 380 km/h high speed heavy rail

As of August 8, Chinese steel producer Wuhan Iron and Steel Co., Ltd (WISCO) had successfully produced over 2,300 mt of 380 km/h high speed heavy rails, 300 mt of which have already been delivered to the Beijing-Shanghai High Speed Rail Line project.

In July this year, WISCO won the tender to supply rails for the 1,318 km Beijing-Shanghai High Speed Rail Line, which will be the longest rail line in China.

WISCO annually produces 1.05 million mt of high quality heavy rails in lengths of above 100 m.
