WISCO commissions silicon steel cutting facility in Shanghai

Major Chinese steel producer Wuhan Iron and Steel Corporation (WISCO) has announced the start of commissioning of a KME 1300 cold rolling silicon steel slitting machine at a Shanghai-based joint venture, with overall commissioning expected to be completed by April 18.

The machine in question belongs to WISCO (Shanghai) Steel Processing Co., a JV between WISCO and Shanghai Pudong Changsheng Materi Co. The designed capacity of the JV company is 50,000 mt per year.
