Vyksa Steel Works' steel pipe output up 20 percent in 2014

Russian steel pipe and railway wheel producer Vyksa Steel Works, a part of Russia-based OMK Group, has announced its production results for the whole of 2014.

Accordingly, in the given year, Vyksa Steel Works' output of steel pipes amounted to 1.8 million mt, up 20 percent year on year, including more than 1 million mt of large diameter (LD) pipes.

In 2014, Vyksa Steel Works decreased its output of railway wheels by 32 percent year on year to 450,000 wheels.
