Vyksa Steel Works issues January-March output results

Vyksa Steel Works, a part of Russia-based OMK Group, has announced its production results for March and for the first three months of the current year.

Accordingly, in January-March Vyksa Steel Works' output of steel tubes amounted to 344,000 mt, including 148,000 mt of large diameter tubes, down 23 percent year on year. In March alone, Vyksa Steel Works produced 120,000 mt of steel tubes, including 47,000 mt of large diameter tubes.

In the first three months of 2012, Vyksa Steel Works increased its output of railway wheels by 3.3 percent year on year to 210,000 wheels. In March this year, Vyksa Steel Works produced 72,400 railway wheels.
