Vietnam files WTO dispute against Indonesian safeguard measure

According to World Trade Organization (WTO), Vietnam has filed a dispute against Indonesia over safeguard measures on imports of flat rolled products of iron or non-alloy steel.
 
The safeguard measures on imports of flat rolled product of iron or non-alloy steel, of a width of 600 mm or more, clad, plated or coated with aluminum-zinc alloys, containing by weight less than 0.6 percent of carbon, with a thickness not exceeding 1.2 mm came into force on July 22, 2014.
 
The product subject to safeguard measure currently falls under Customs Tariff Statistics Position Number 7210.61.11.00.
