Vallourec’s Saudi finishing plant fully qualified to produce premium connections

France-based pipe manufacturer Vallourec has announced that its new finishing plant in Dammam, Saudi Arabia is now fully qualified to carry out all operations required in the production of premium connections.
 
The new finishing plant is dedicated to heat treatment and threading for the full range of premium connections, with an annual capacity of 100,000 mt. It will mainly supply
Saudi Aramco, Saudi Arabia's national oil company, along with other regional operators. The new finishing plant has already received an order for 20,000 mt of premium connections.
 
According to Vallourec's statement, with the qualification of this plant, Vallourec is reinforcing its presence in the Middle East where numerous oil and gas projects require high added-value tubular solutions.
