Vallourec wins welded tube order for Edradour project in UK

French pipe producer Vallourec has announced that it has been awarded a contract by Technip Umbilicals Systems (TUS) for the Edradour gas project operated by global oil giant TOTAL in the West of Shetland area in northern UK. Under the scope of the order, Vallourec will deliver super duplex welded tubes for umbilicals from its plant located in Burgundy, France.

Vallourec will start production of the products in question at the end of the third quarter this year, with delivery scheduled for the first half of 2015. The company has not yet provided specific details about the order volume.
