Uzmetkombinat's crude steel output rises very slightly in H1

Uzbekistan-based steel producer Uzmetkombinat has announced that in the first half this year it increased its crude steel output by 0.1 percent year on year to 381,700 mt, while its rolled steel production also went up by 0.1 percent compared to the same period of last year to 367,200 mt.
In the first half this year, Uzmetkombinat produced consumer goods worth UZS 26.2 billion ($11.05 million), up 6.5 percent year on year.

In the period in question, the company's investments totaled UZS 6.04 billion ($2.5 million) compared to the forecast level of UZS 6.01 billion.
