Uzbek steelmaker
Uzbekistan Metallurgical Plant (Uzmetkombinat), based in Bekabad in the Tashkent region, has announced that in 2015 it plans to start
production of steel seamless hot-deformed pipes with 40-168 mm diameter and wall thickness of 6-25 mm.. The new facility's capacity will be around 30,000 mt of pipes per year. The total investment in the project will be about $90 million.
