Baker Hughes has reported that for the week ending November 14 the US rig count increased by three to 1,928 following a four-rig decrease the week before. The gas rig count decreased by six to 350, whereas the oil rig count increased by 10 to 1,578. The overall rig count is up by 166 from 1,762 rigs during the same week a year ago.
Meanwhile, the Canadian rig count decreased by eight in the week ending November 14 to reach 402 following a 19-rig decrease the previous week. The Canadian rig count is up by one from 401 rigs during the same week a year ago.
