US OCTG exports up 28.9 percent in June

According to export data from the US Department of Commerce, US exports of oil country tubular goods (OCTG) totaled 21,188 mt in June 2023, up 28.9 percent from May and up 10.7 percent from June 2022. By value, OCTG totaled $49.0 million in June, compared to $34.8 million in the previous month and $43.9 million the same month last year.

The US shipped the most OCTG to Canada in June with 15,179 mt, compared to 12,093 mt in May and 13,681 mt in June 2022. Other top destinations included Mexico, with 1,772 mt; and UAE, with 1,188 mt.
