On July 1, 2005, the US Department of Commerce (DOC) initiated and the US International Trade Commission (ITC) instituted the sunset review of the antidumping duty order on light-walled welded rectangular carbon steel tubing from Argentina. ITC used the sunset review to determine whether the revocation of the order would likely lead to continuation or recurrence of material injury to US domestic industries. As a result of the review, the ITC determined that revocation of the existing antidumping duty order on the subject merchandise from Argentina would not likely lead to continuation or recurrence of material injury to US domestic industries. Accordingly, the DOC determined to revoke the antidumping duty order on light-walled welded rectangular carbon steel tubing from Argentina.
