On August 26, the US International Trade Commission (ITC) made its final affirmative injury determination in the antidumping (AD) and countervailing duty (CVD) investigations of magnesia carbon bricks from China and the AD investigation of magnesia carbon bricks from Mexico.

As SteelOrbis previously reported, the US Department of Commerce announced on July 30 this year its affirmative final determinations for the investigations of magnesia carbon brick from both countries in question.

As a result of the ITC's affirmative determinations, the DOC will issue a countervailing duty order on imports of these products from China and antidumping duty orders on imports of these products from China and Mexico.
