US ITC makes affirmative ruling in case against finished carbon steel flanges from India and Italy

Thursday, 27 July 2017 00:15:15 (GMT+3)   |   San Diego

The United States International Trade Commission (ITC) today determined that a US industry is materially injured by reason of imports of finished carbon steel flanges from Italy and India that the US Department of Commerce (DOC) has determined are sold in the United States at less than fair value and subsidized by the government of India.

Chairman Rhonda K. Schmidtlein, Vice Chairman David S. Johanson, and Commissioners Irving A. Williamson and Meredith M. Broadbent voted in the affirmative.

As a result of the ITC’s affirmative determinations, the DOC will issue a countervailing duty order on imports of these products from India and antidumping duty orders on imports of these products from India and Italy.
