The US Department of Commerce (DOC) has announced the preliminary results of its administrative review of the antidumping duty order on carbon and alloy steel cut-to-length plate from Italy.

During the review period from May 1, 2021, to April 30, 2022, Italian producer NLMK Verona S.p.A was found to have made sales of the subject products at less than normal value. Additionally, the DOC also rescinded this review with regard to Officine Tecnosider s.r.l. for which the request was timely withdrawn.

The DOC has determined a weighted-average dumping margin of 15.88 percent for NLMK Verona S.p.A.

The preliminary antidumping duties for India are applicable from June 5.
