The US Department of Commerce (DOC) has announced its final circumvention ruling on certain welded carbon steel standard pipes and tubes made with substrate from India, completed in Vietnam, and then exported to the US during the period between January 1, 2017, and December 31, 2021.

Completing its investigation, the DOC determined that imports of the given products completed in Vietnam using Indian-origin hot rolled steel are circumventing the antidumping duty orders on pipe from India.
