The US International Trade Commission (ITC) made affirmative preliminary injury determinations Tuesday in the antidumping (AD) investigations of grain-oriented electrical steel from China, the Czech Republic, Germany, Japan, Korea, Poland, and Russia and the countervailing duty (CVD) investigation of grain-oriented electrical steel from China.

As a result of the ITC's determination, the US Department of Commerce will conduct full-scale AD and CVD investigations of grain-oriented electrical steel from these countries.
