US DOC review of AD order against standard pipe from India postponed

The US Department of Commerce (DOC) has postponed the date for its final results in the administrative review of the antidumping order against welded carbon steel standard pipe and tube from India.  The review covers four producers / exporters - Lloyds Metals & Engineers Limited, Jindal Pipes Limited, Maharashtra Seamless Limited, and Ratnamani Metals Tubes Ltd., during the period from May 1, 2008 through April 30, 2009.

The DOC's final results are now due by November 5, 2010.

The DOC released its preliminary results in this review last June - a dumping margin of 10.29 percent for all four companies.

The product covered by these investigations is currently classified in the Harmonized Tariff Schedule of the United States (HTSUS) under item numbers: 7306.30.1000, 7306.30.5025, 7306.30.5032, 7306.30.5040, 7306.30.5055, 7306.30.5085, 7306.30.5090.
