US DOC rescinds AD review for certain line pipe from Japan

On July 7, the US Department of Commerce (DOC) announced in the Federal Register the rescission of the antidumping (AD) duty administrative review for welded large diameter line pipe from Japan.

In the review covering the period December 1, 2008, through November 30, 2009 for JFE Steel Corporation, Nippon Steel Corporation, Sumitomo Corporation and Sumitomo Metal Industries, the petitioner US Steel Corporation withdrew its request for review for all companies on June 1. Therefore, the US DOC rescinded the review.

The product currently is classified under US Harmonized Tariff Schedule (HTSUS) item numbers 7305.11.10.30, 7305.11.10.60, 7305.11.50.00, 7305.12.10.30, 7305.12.10.60, 7305.12.50.00, 7305.19.10.30., 7305.19.10.60 and 7305.19.50.00.
