The US Department of Commerce (DOC) has announced that it has rescinded the 2008-2009 antidumping (AD) administrative review of malleable cast iron pipe fittings from China.

The decision came after the two parties that requested a review on Mueller Comercial de Mexico S. De R.L. de CV's exports to the US, namely the company itself and Southland Pipe Nipples Company Inc., timely withdrew their request on January 12, 2010.

As SteelOrbis previously reported, the DOC had initiated the review as a part of the administrative reviews of AD and countervailing duty (CVD) orders with a December anniversary month.

The review was to cover the period from December 1, 2008 through November 30, 2009.
