On February 1, 2006, the US Department of Commerce (DOC) initiated an administrative review of the countervailing duty order on certain hot rolled carbon steel flat products imported from
India, covering the period January 1, 2005, through December 31, 2005.
The DOC preliminarily determined to rescind the review due to Essar's lack of entries of subject merchandise during the period of review.
