On September 8, the US Department of Commerce (DOC) announced in the Federal Register the final results of its countervailing duty (CVD) duty sunset review on certain heavy iron construction castings from Brazil.

As a result of its sunset review, the DOC has found that revocation of the CVD order would be likely to lead to continuation or recurrence of a countervailable subsidy. Accordingly, the DOC determined the Brazil-wide rate of 1.06 percent.

The merchandise is currently classified under Harmonized Tariff Schedule (HTS) item number 7325.10.00.
