US DOC issues final AD review results for stainless steel bar from

On July 12, the US Department of Commerce (DOC) announced in the Federal Register the final results of its antidumping duty (AD) administrative review for stainless steel bar from Brazil.
 
As a result of its administrative review covering February 1, 2008, through January 31, 2009, the US DOC has determined a dumping margin of 3.70 percent for Villares Metals S.A, which compares with the preliminary margin of zero percent, announced on March 16.
 
The petitioners in the investigation are Carpenter Technology Corporation, Valbruna Slater, Inc., Electralloy Corporation, a Division of G.O. Carlson, Inc., and Universal Stainless.
 
Imports of steel plate are currently classified in the Harmonized Tariff Schedule of the United States (HTSUS) under subheadings, 7222.10.0005, 7222.10.0050, 7222.20.0005, 7222.20.0045, 7222.20.0075 and 7222.30.0000.
