On October 8, the US Department of Commerce (DOC) announced in the Federal Register the final results of its antidumping (AD) duty administrative review for certain circular welded carbon steel pipes and tubes from Taiwan.

The US DOC said that in the review covering from May 1, 2008, through April 30, 2009 it determined in final that respondent Yieh Phui Enterprise Co., Ltd has sold the products in the United States at less than normal value, determining a dumping margin of 5.04 percent, in line with the preliminary determination.

The petitioner for the investigation is domestic producer Wheatland Tube Company.

The product covered by these investigations is currently classified in the Harmonized Tariff Schedule of the United States (HTSUS) under item numbers: 7306.30.5025, 7306.30.5032, 7306.30.5040, and 7306.30.5055.
