US DOC issues AD and CVD orders on magnesia carbon bricks form China and Mexico

The US Department of Commerce (DOC) Monday published the antidumping (AD) orders against magnesia carbon bricks from China and Mexico.

The dumping margins for China are as follows:

1.  RHI-Refractories Liaoning Co., Ltd. - 128.10 percent

2.  Separate Rate Respondents - 128.10 percent

3.  All Other Chinese Producers and Exporters - 236.00 percent


The dumping margins for Mexico are as follows:

1.  RHI-Refmex S.A. de C.V. - 57.90 percent

2.  All Other Mexican Producers and Exporters - 57.90 percent

As SteelOrbis previously reported, the US International Trade Commission (ITC) made its final affirmative injury determination in the antidumping (AD) and countervailing duty (CVD) investigations of magnesia carbon bricks from China and the AD investigation of magnesia carbon bricks from Mexico on Aug. 26. 

The DOC is expected to soon publish the countervailing duty (CVD) order against magnesia carbon bricks from China.

The subsidy margins for China are as follows:

1.  RHI Companies - 24.24 percent

2.  Mayerton Companies - 253.87 percent

3.  All Others - 24.24 percent
