As requested by Ternium Mexico SA de CV, the US Department of Commerce (DOC) on Monday formally initiated "changed circumstances" reviews to determine whether Ternium Mexico is the successor-in-interest to Hysla SA de CV with respect to the antidumping orders against standard pipe and light-walled rectangular (LWR) pipe and tube from Mexico.

Ternium Mexico requested these reviews on the grounds that Hysla changed its name to Ternium Mexico following its acquisition by Ternium Luxembourg.

Hysla's current dumping duty deposit rate for standard pipe is 10.38 percent, and its rate for LWR pipe and tube is 3.76 percent.
