On April 22, 2005, the US Department of Commerce (DOC) initiated an administrative review of the antidumping duty order on stainless steel bars imported from French Ugitech S.A. The review covered the period March 1, 2004, through February 28, 2005. The DOC preliminarily determined that Ugitech made sales below normal value during the period of review. The preliminary weighted-average dumping margin for the producer was determined as 9.70 percent. Upon the comments received, the DOC decided to make changes in the preliminary results. Accordingly, the final results of this review differ from the preliminary results. Final weighted-average dumping margin existing for the period March 1, 2004, through February 28, 2005 is as follows:

Producer/exporter Margin

Ugitech S.A.......................9.68 percent
The previous dumping deposit rate for Ugitech was 14.98 percent.
