US DOC: Duties on iron construction castings to continue for three countries

Based on affirmative final determinations by the US Department of Commerce (DOC) and the US International Trade Commission (ITC), the DOC announced on November 19 that an antidumping duty (AD) order on certain iron construction castings from Brazil, Canada, and China and a countervailing duty (CVD) order on castings from Brazil shall continue.

As SteelOrbis previously reported, the DOC and ITC made the mentioned affirmative decisions on September 8 and October 18. The DOC announced in the Federal Register the final margins of its AD and CVD duties in its decision.

The product covered by these investigations is currently classified in the Harmonized Tariff Schedule of the United States (HTSUS) under item numbers: 7325.10.0010, 7325.10.0050, 7325.10.0010, 7325.10.0010, and 7325.10.0050.
